I saw a suggestion to write the code to make the name change, but it would be nice if it is built in order to add or change prefixes. What would be the best way to create multiple copies of the code organized this way without creating a conflict? It would involve prefixes? There are probably hundreds of subVIs rename manually would take a lot of time. I've not seen this before - I always put subVIs in a folder and a project to manage them rather than a library. For some reason, all high level VI and subVIs are contained in a library, and we have all this access via the LLB Manager. We want to create copies of this code and all its subVIs so that each user can make changes without affecting the others.
We currently have a Labview code that has been written elsewhere and is used by several people in my University (all using the same computer). I also have a second question, which relates to this but I'm going to move it to a new thread if necessary. Is it possible to change this prefix later? It would be useful when you create a copy of the project. When you create a new project in 2012, there is an option to create a file name prefix.
